What time are your services?

Sunday morning worship is at 10:00 AM. Midweek Bible study is Wednesdays at 7:00 PM. Sunday services typically run about 75 minutes.

Where are you located?

6557 Buttercup Drive, Building 5, Wellington, CO 80549. We’re just off I-25, about 15 minutes north of Fort Collins. Parking is free and plentiful right in front of the building. Get Directions

What should I wear?

Whatever you’re comfortable in. You’ll see everything from jeans and sneakers to dress clothes. Most people land somewhere in the smart casual range, but there’s no dress code. Just come.

Will I be singled out as a visitor?

No. We don’t ask visitors to stand, raise their hand, or wear a name tag. You’re free to be anonymous. If you want to connect afterward, we’d love that, but it’s entirely on your terms.

What’s the worship style like?

Contemporary worship with songs you can actually sing. It’s warm but reverent. Whether you sing along, stand quietly, or just observe, you’re welcome exactly as you are.

Do you have anything for kids?

Kids are welcome in our services. As the church grows, we are developing age-appropriate programming for children. Right now, families worship together.

Do I need to register before visiting?

No. Just walk in. No registration, no RSVP, no sign-up. We’ll have someone ready to welcome you and help you find a seat.

What denomination are you?

We’re an independent, non-denominational church. We hold to the historic Christian faith as expressed in Scripture. We believe the Bible speaks with authority to every area of life. For more, visit our Beliefs page.

How long has the church been around?

New Life Christian Church started in 2019 in Wellington, Colorado. While we’re a young church, our pastor brings over 30 years of ministry experience and a deep conviction about building something that lasts.

Who is the pastor?

Dr. Stephen Carter, Sr. is the Senior Pastor and founder of New Life. He holds a Doctor of Ministry degree with a pastoral counseling focus and over 30 years in ministry. He’s been married for 27 years and has four children. Learn more on our About page.

What do you believe?

We believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word, that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, that salvation is by grace through faith, and that the Church is the body of Christ. Getting Involved

How do I join a small group?

We have Bible study groups, men’s ministry, women’s ministry, and couples and family groups meeting throughout the week. Visit our Join a Group page to see what’s available, or contact us and we’ll match you with a group that fits.

How do I volunteer or serve?

We have serve opportunities in hospitality, worship support, community outreach, small group leadership, and men’s and women’s ministry. Visit our Serve page or reach out to us and we’ll help you find the right fit.

How do I become a member?

Membership at New Life is a covenant commitment. It involves a conversation with Dr. Carter, agreement with our statement of faith, and a commitment to walk with the body. Reach out to start the process.

How can I get baptized?

We practice believer’s baptism by immersion. Baptisms happen at the end of our Sunday service. If you’ve placed your faith in Jesus and want to take this step, visit our Baptism page or let us know and we’ll walk you through it.

How do I give?

You can give online through our Give page or in person on Sunday morning. We believe giving is an act of worship, never an obligation.

Do I need to be a member to receive counseling?

No. Pastoral counseling is available to anyone in the community. You don’t need to attend or be a member of our church.

What’s the difference between pastoral counseling and therapy?

Pastoral counseling is distinct from licensed professional therapy. Dr. Carter is an ordained pastor with extensive clinical training, not a licensed therapist. His approach integrates Scripture with clinical wisdom. If your situation requires licensed clinical care, he’ll refer you to an appropriate provider.

Is counseling confidential?

Yes. What you share stays in the counseling relationship. The only exceptions are situations involving imminent danger to yourself or others, or legally mandated reporting.

How much does counseling cost?
