Built to Contribute,
Not Just Consume

Scripture is clear: every believer is given gifts by the Holy Spirit, not for personal benefit, but for the building up of the body. Serving is not volunteer work. It is the normal Christian life.

At New Life, we do not have a staff of professionals who run the church while everyone else watches. We are a body where every member contributes. Whether you are wired for hospitality, teaching, logistics, music, or mercy, there is a team that needs exactly what God put in you.

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.

Serve Teams

Every team at New Life exists to serve the body and the community. Here is where you can plug in.

Hospitality & Greeting

Be the first face someone sees when they walk through the door. Welcome guests, set up for services, and create an environment where people feel at home.

Led by Caitlin De Leon

Security Team

Ensure the safety of our congregation during services and events. Training provided. A servant’s heart and a watchful eye are the only requirements.

Led by Jaxson Hilliard

Worship & Music

Vocalists, instrumentalists, and worship leaders who lead the congregation in praise. Auditions and rehearsals coordinated with the worship team lead.

Media, Tech & Sound

Run sound, manage slides, operate cameras, and handle the livestream. If you are tech-minded and detail-oriented, this team needs you.

Women’s Ministry

Bible studies, fellowship events, and discipleship for women. A team of women investing in one another through the Word and genuine relationship.

Men’s Ministry

Iron sharpens iron. Bible studies, accountability, fellowship, and service projects designed to build men who lead well at home and in the church.

Led by Stephen Carter, Jr

Couples Ministry

Marriage enrichment, date nights, and couples’ studies for every stage. Strengthening marriages is strengthening the church.

Teaching the next generation the Word of God through age-appropriate lessons, activities, and care during services. Background checks required.

Counseling Ministry

Supporting Dr. Carter’s pastoral counseling practice through prayer support, follow-up care, and resource coordination for those walking through difficult seasons.

BEYOND OUR WALLS

Community Outreach

The church does not exist for itself. We serve Wellington and Northern Colorado through practical acts of love: food drives, community service days, partnerships with local organizations, and meeting tangible needs in our neighborhood.

If you want to be part of making a real difference in the community around you, this is where to start. We are always looking for people willing to get their hands dirty for the sake of the gospel.
